Dear Friends,
I don't know how this happened.
As of October 2009, I'll have lived here in the greater Peoria area for 4 years. By some bizarre twist of kismet I've made some of the most amazing friends.
The whole notion of me making new and close friends is fucked up because normally I shy away from people. But somehow I've found myself surrounded at work and especially at play with wonderful, kind, loving, intelligent and insightful individuals who make me laugh everyday.
I just thought you should know.
Notoriously Abrasively Yours,
Rix

Good for you Rix. I too usually shy away from people. I have had really nice people reach out to me over blogs. (Keep in mind I left work when I found out my teenager was spending too much time on MySpace after school...) So, I am in somewhat of a dilemma, because I must, of course, teach my example, right?
I met my non-work friends on the internet! (Wow, that makes me sound like a real geek.)
Contented former hermits unite!
Unless you are a party flake. :)~
Themis! You do not get to tease her about that anymore!!
Thank you, thank you. I'd love to take all the credit but . . . OK, I'll take all the credit.
Love,
Brick
Kate, she called me a party flake so I was just returning the favor. And yes, she is STILL a party flake, just not as often. :)
Muah!! You have brought your bad self to Peoria and we have loved you! How could we not!
