Nose Flute

#2's conduct and effort sheet came home on Friday with an A and an A-. It was an A- because he got a check in music. The notation next to the check said "Playing recorder with nose."

The teacher was going around the room having each kid finger a D on the recorder and then blow (ooh. that sounded strange). #2 thought it would be funny to produce his D with his nose.

His music teacher clearly doesn't appreciate his sense of humor.

I bet that story was the hit of the teacher's lounge (if those things still exist). Too cute.

Some people just take things too seriously!

BTW, my daughter's SB team is competing in EP today. She doesn't know what school they are going to, though...

I'll ask #1 about his SB meet.

Ramble...yes, we have the teacher's lounge. I dunno if this teacher frequents the teacher's lounge, though. If she did, she might not have been so offended by the nose-recorder-playing. :)

Sounds like he's been hanging around the Brick, although he doesn't need any instrument to play his nose. :)

Did someone say "nose flute?" Sounds promising.
