I have reason to believe that there may be some new readers to this small corner of cyberocity. Probably because the title 'Girl Bleeder' sounds so goth and all.
Because of that, I think this is a wonderful time to introduce my new readers to all things hemophilia.
Remember that movie with Richard Gere..."And the Band Played On"? Remember Ryan White? Now you can say that you know someone affected by that movie and that boy. Now it's personal. So, since you already found your way here, learn some more:
Exhibit A
Did you know that more than 10,000 men, women and children have died because our government failed to protect us from bad blood?
The fractionation of blood is a multi-billion dollar industry that is largly self-regulated. If you think you might need blood during a surgery, find a match in your own family.
Did you know that if you or a loved one became infected with a virus or illness from a tainted blood transfusion or blood product infusion, you would have very little legal recourse?
Blood Shield Laws prevent consumers from much of the legal recourse afforded patients who use other "faulty" drugs.
How many of my readers know someone who has died from AIDS. Or Hepatitis. My bleeder brothers and sisters need not bother to answer. For us, it's too hard to count.
So, there's my PSA for the week. See you in Orlando.

oh girlfriend...we done blowed it up! Wasn't expecting reno on his white horse, but there he were! I'm glad I got my hair did today.
Good going, guys! LOL
Sorry I didn't get to gape but maybe when/if it comes back online.
Shall all reasonable, rational liberals join hands and chant? So glad to have wondered upon your site. I read it all the way back to the beginning. You sound like one hell of a good person!
yeah, it was a showdown. I tried getting the clique to start a thread so everyone could air out their grievances, but all I got in return was "oh, reno, TRUST US, SHE'S EVIL." or something akin to it. Not exactly a stellar argument to keep my curiosity at bay.
