Pajama Day

I work with teenagers. Ornery, rotten, ill-behaved teens. We try to do fun things now and then to keep morale and enthusiasm up. This time of the year it gets tough because all anyone can think of is SUMMER VACATION! (Including the teachers).

Teenagers are a funny group. They want to be grown ups. They act (sometimes) like toddlers. Everyday is something new and exciting!!

But today, we had Pajama Day! Nothing brings out the child-side of a bunch of teens than letting them wear their pajamas to school...plus a favorite blanket and fuzzy slippers. Of course, we had to specify that it was PAJAMA DAY and not "what you wear to bed" day. Because 15 year old boys love nothing more than talking about how they sleep in the nude.

A few of the teachers wore their PJ's too (including me)and it was a lot of fun!

I like when we can do something fun and the kids get into it. Who knew pajamas would be so much fun?

That sounds like so much fun! I wish we did that when I was in school...of course we had such a strict dress code way back when!

Thats so funny. I work with both teenagers AND toddlers, and I always talk about how they are so similar. My friends who work with one or the other don't get it unless they have children that age.
Anyway, my whole point is that they both LOVE pajama day! I love it too, its so fun!
